Nokia Communities – Part 2 (for facebook)
In the first part of this app, I’ve written about the twitter part of it. In this post I’m gonna talk about its facebook part. Nokia Communities supports only these two services as of now.
The first page, or more likely the home page, after your signing in, gives you the News Feeds page of your facebook. This is automatically updated. You have to install languages on your phone to give full support for apps concerning languages. As you can see in the following screenshot, a language in a news feed isn’t displayed. This is not a problem of the app, for those are new to this, install the language pack and it’ll work fine.
As I’ve already mentioned in the Part 1, you can see the “What’s on your mind?” textbox and a button with a camera on the top of the screen. The textbox is used to update your status. Next, you also get all the updates of your friends.
The next page gives you the events marked on your calendar, starting from yesterday to a few days ahead, listed. Tap on them to get different options.
The next page lists out all your friends in your friends list. You can either just list them or search any person from the next tab, within the Friends tab. You get even the names, not just the pics, but I’ve erased the names, (privacy purpose:)).
The next page, Requests, lists all the requests you have got in your facebook. This maybe a friend request, an even request, a quiz request or those game requests you keep getting even if you don’t want them.
This covers the review of communities as a social networking client. The following two screenshots speak for themselves..
When ‘Community C’ tapped,
