Nokia Fever

Looking for something to keep your grey matter busy these days? Check out the latest brain teaser in town- Brain Tester 24 Pack, a demo version of which is available for free at the ovi store.

While we have been seeing a recent deluge in brain teasers and puzzles in the ovi store, we are yet to see that teaser/puzzle which is not only challenging but also entertaining at the same time. After all we look forward to our phones to have some fun in addition to meeting our communication needs right? Thats one of the most colourful interfaces that we have seen on our 5800s. Getting to the game, this is another promising package that has not been implemented to satisfactorily levels on the symbian fifth edition platform. Not only does the game take a long time to load, but the graphics is not worth the loading time which makes us wonder what takes the game so long to boot up. The teasers are the only face savers of this latest game from Digital Chocolate.

What we like?

1. Colourful interface
2. Engaging teasers

What we don’t like?

1. Frustratingly long boot times
2. Graphics not optimized for 5800 hardware

Verdict

Brain Tester 24 Pack is definitely an entertaining game but it could have been much better if the developers had addressed a couple of issues discussed above. While we are not going on to judge it a “must have”, we would recommend this teaser to puzzle fanatics out there and considering the fact that the demo version of this game is available as a free download at the ovi store, other enthusiasts can also give it a try on their 5800s.
