Fun App: Shake it and Fizz it on Your Nokia 5800
Here they are, fun applications: a genre which has been very popular on the iPhone platform. We have been touting 5800 to be an iPhone killer since long now and finally some developers have realized the huge potential of our 5800s. If its available on iPhone, its gotta be on Europe’s best selling phone-5800 too, right? XpressBeer started it and now Shake it! by Zensis brings the same joy to non-alcoholic friends of us.
Well, you gotta be wondering whats Shake it! all about. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure out that this application has got something to do with shaking and coke but how does it all pan out on a Nokia 5800? Lets check out!
To begin with lets give you a glimpse of what this app has in store for you:
Well now you must have got some fair idea what this application is all about- Tapping on “start” on the homescreen will initiate the coke (or rather CocoCoko) can and this is when you need to start shaking it. A vertical column to the right of the cone, indicates how far from the fizz, you are. The earlier you can reach the fizz, the better the award you get. How fast you can reach the fizz depends on how hard you shake your phone.
What we liked best about this application is the sound synchronization. It totally blows your mind away with its near perfect recreation of the actual fizz sound. You can actually fool a friend by shaking your 5800 behind his/her back and make them go gaga over you when there is no coke or beer to pacify their sudden urge for either of the two!
Shake it! is a fun application for fooling around with your friends and for standing up against that iPhone wielding friend of yours with an equally cool application. Having said that, we would like to add a statutory warning to please have a firm grip on your 5800s while using this application. We sincerely don’t want you to damage your 5800s even for fun.
This fun application is one of the best accelerometer based applications we have come across so far. Shake it! can be downloaded for free from the ovi store (Remember to sign-in).
