Here comes another premium application for Nokia 5800 to be given away for free to 10 participants. HANDY SHELL for S60 is around for quite sometime and its a popular application for the S60 devices including Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.

The default standby screen on Nokia 5800 does not provide much customization or flexibility options. You can have just 4 apps shortcuts, a shortcut for search function and 3 calendar entries maximum but the screen area below that on Nokia 5800 is just bare and a wasted space in our opinion.

Handy Shell does a great job of replacing the default Active Standby screen, and provides a bevy of great options that have been needed for a while. There is no noticable drain in battery life as of it which is good.
