The default standby screen on does not provide much customization or flexibility options. You can have just 4 apps shortcuts, a shortcut for search function and 3 calendar entries maximum but the screen area below that on is just bare and a wasted space in our opinion.
Handy Shell does a great job of replacing the default Active Standby screen, and provides a bevy of great options that have been needed for a while. There is no noticable drain in battery life as of it which is good.

Hello everyone, i love my 5800. its one of the best investments i have ever made. The phone helps me do everything that i normally did on several other gadgets. sometimes i wonder at the beauty of apps, simplicity in use and speed of performance. But as the author said there isnt much option to customize the homescreen. So a tool like this will be really helpful. So please give me a license and i shall be thankful to all of you.
