FotoTranslate is an innovative application by ABBYY. The application gives you 5530, image based translation capabilities. What this means is that you just need to point you camera towards foreign text and it will translate the text.

The advanced application includes Optical Recognition Technology (OCR) which converts input from the camera and processes it as text. It then matches this text with the included dictionaries and provides a translation. The application does not require any form of internet connectivity and is totally installed on the 5530 and so can be easily used when visiting another country.
